Short Bio
A graduate of Montserrat College of Art class of 74. John has shown in many National Competitions and Galleries across the United States and in Italy. His work has been published in prestigious Art magazines such as Southwest Art and others.
Statement
My favorite subjects are Gloucester Harbor and San Francisco Harbor scenes as well as Sonoma coast scenes. Florals and California vineyards and landscapes round out the rest of my Portfolio. Impressionistic style and technique dominate my work. Oil is my medium and most of my paintings are plein air.
